FOR ALL GUESTS – Our Daily Bread will continue handing out carry-out coffee/tea/hot cocoa, hot to-go meals, sandwiches, pastries and fruit from 8:30AM -11:45AM.
We have installed a port-o-let and hand washing station in front of our building on Race Street and a drinking water fill up station on the Elder Street side of our building.
Due to the ban on gatherings and restaurants, we will no longer be able to allow our guests into the building.
OUR MOST PRESSING NEEDS –
– Pre-Cooked Trays of Meals (contact Kathy@ourdailybread.us for details)
– Plastic forks
– To-Go coffee cups (10-12 oz) with lids
– Chef Boyardee/Dinty Moore with pop-tops
– Fresh Fruit (oranges and bananas)
– Ziplock sandwich bags
– Plastic Grocery Bags
DONATION DELIVERY HOURS – 8AM – NOON MON-FRI – We are located at 1730 Race Street. The donation door is located behind our building in the back alley. If you are heading south on Race, make a left on Elder, and then an immediate right behind our building. Follow the arrows to the green door and ring the bell. Someone will help you unload and you can be on your way. No parking necessary.
VOLUNTEERS – We are still in need of volunteers, but will be able to make-do using staff if volunteers are unable (or do not feel comfortable) coming in. IF you are on the schedule to volunteer and wish to do so, please enter the building using the donation door at the back of the building. If you are able to come in earlier (i.e. 8:00 AM) to help prep to-go meals, that would be appreciated as well. Please contact Kathy at email@example.com with any questions.
KIDS CLUB – has been suspended until further notice. Kids Club Coordinator, Kate Daly, will be in touch with all Kids Club families to ensure that we are still able to provide grocery bags.
FOOD DONATIONS – We know that this is a difficult time for local restaurants who are moving to to-go meals. If you have excess food that you worry about spoiling, please consider donating it to Our Daily Bread. Contact Kathy for delivery options.
