Our Daily Bread guest Rosie Mae Reed shared an exciting announcement today: she has completed her GED! This has been a long-time goal, and Ms. Reed worked very hard to achieve it. Ms. Reed enrolled in Dohn Community High School, a non-traditional school with an Adult Diploma Program. Of the program Reed says, the teachers were caring, attentive and eager to help; “the teachers will engage and communicate with you and help you with your work.” Reed highly recommends the program for others wishing to receive their High School Diploma.
Reed, who currently resides in Evanston, is quickly progressing on her next goal to become a Registered Nurse. She is looking for work as an LPN in a nursing home and plans to apply to Cincinnati State this week.
At Our Daily Bread we are always looking for a reason to celebrate the successes of our guests. Congratulations Rosie!
