Local photographer and author Peter Teremi self-published The Murphy-Cam Project Book, a photographic essay Teremi captured while walking his schnauzer, Murphy, along the Cincinnati riverfront from 2016 to 2017.
Proceeds from the coffee-table-style book support Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and Social Center due to Teremi's compassion for those experiencing homelessness.
"What I noticed as we explored was the pervasive homeless population...the contrast between the beauty of the riverfront, and the plight of our neighbors without homes is striking.” The project has already raised more than $1,500 and in an effort to raise even more money, the community is encouraged to attend the upcoming book signing:
