A Safe Place To Gather
As part of the mission of Our Daily Bread, we strive to provide a welcoming space for individuals to come together. Our lower lobby serves as a day shelter and community space Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Each morning we offer fresh coffee as well as donated baked goods. Our guests gather to socialize, play board games and cards, and they may rest quietly on our benches. Public restrooms, a phone and a drinking fountain are available for our guests as well.
Daily activities following the meal service contribute to a community atmosphere at Our Daily Bread. Recent and current activities organized by dedicated volunteers include:
Women's Group Mondays, 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
Lighthouse Youth Services support for ages 18-24 Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. -11 a.m.
