Who We Are

Our Daily Bread is an Over-the-Rhine (Cincinnati, Ohio) 501(c)(3) ministry of hospitality dedicated to serving the needs of neighborhood residents and those who frequent the area. The ministry strives to provide stability and hope to our guests and the neighborhood community, by offering not just a warm meal, but also providing social services and a place for guests to socialize in a safe, respectful, caring environment. We encourage you to help us throughout the year by supporting Our Daily Bread in any way you can.

What We Do

A Hot Meal

Our Daily Bread is the Greater Cincinnati area’s largest soup kitchen, providing a hot meal in a comfortable place for all who come to us. Upwards of 500 meals are served Monday through Friday from 9:45-11:45am

Social Services

Our Daily Bread employs a social worker who works with our guests and other agencies to provide them the services they need to be fully capable and contributing members of this community.

Kids Club

Kids Club provides children of Over the Rhine a place to gather and have something to eat at the end of the school day and during the summer.

Day Shelter/Community Space

Our Daily Bread opens Monday through Friday at 8:30 a.m. to provide our guests with a safe, comfortable place to gather and rest. We serve coffee and donated pastries in our lower dining room before the soup kitchen service begins.
